For the April's meeting, we got back together at Tempe Beach Park. The weather cooperated with a temp in the 80's and a nice breeze. Our newest members Seven and Fred stopped by with their S.O.'s to see what an Arizuni meeting is like. Hope we didn't scare them away! Scott, Justin and Jamie brought their giraffe so I finally decided to take a wack at it. It was actually pretty easy! Of course free mounting it is a way's in the future. It would have been another perfect day of unicycling except that yours truely got a little careless yanking my Monty 20 back toward me after a normal dismount. I managed to wack my shin pretty good with an Odyssey Twisted Pro pedal (you know .. the kind with the sharp steel pins). Scott fixed me up with some kleenex and duct tape which did the trick until later in the day when Urgent Care replaced the duct tape with six stitches. I think it's time to invest in some Roach leg armor! |
