| The Arizunis got together for their second meeting on February 24, 2001 at Tempe Beach Park. Although not as many folks showed up this time, those that did had a wonderful afternoon working together on skills development. Amy Hammann and her mother Kris were able to make it as were Scott Petersen and his son Justin. Of course, I (Keith) showed up and brought my sons Colin and Trevor.
Amy worked diligently on her reverse mount (with much coaching from her Mom, Scott, and myself) and by the end of the meeting was pulling it off repeatedly. Yay for Amy!! My son Colin worked on hill climbing and Scott, Justin and I worked on hop turns, saddle-in-front riding, etc, etc, etc... All in all it was a weather-perfect, terrific afternoon! Thanks to all who showed up! |
