NodeShark currently is supported on a number of Windows variants.

It should work on any of the following:

Windows 2000

Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit

Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit

Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit

I have tested it on the following:

Windows XP 32-bit

Windows Vista 64-bit

Windows 7 32-bit

Windows 7 64-bit

With a few changes and a significant amount of testing, I can build a Linux version but I'll wait to see if there is any demand for that.

PuTTY

In order for NodeShark to retrieve a local backup of the "archivedir" directory, NodeShark uses PuTTY's PSCP (PuTTY Secure Copy). PuTTY is a very popular, FREE and stable implementation of SSH, SCP, Telnet, etc for Windows and I'm sure many of you already have it installed on your Windows platform to allow you to SSH into your node.
